8086 LLC adds no terms of its own. The store you download Placardex from sets the terms that apply.

Which terms apply

• From the App Store: Placardex is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
• From Google Play: your download and purchase are covered by the Google Play Terms of Service.

The purchase

Placardex is a paid app: $4.99 in the U.S., paid once (the store shows your local price). There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Apple or Google sells it and handles any refund: see Apple’s refund page or Google Play’s refund policies.

What Placardex is, and is not

Placardex is a reference to the U.S. Hazardous Materials Table, 49 CFR §172.101, with its Appendices A and B, and to the segregation table of 49 CFR §177.848. It shows the regulation’s text. It does not classify a shipment or approve it, and it does not give emergency response guidance.

Reference only — verify against the official 49 CFR text and your company’s own HazMat training/certification before shipping.

Placardex is not a government app, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Transportation, PHMSA or any government agency. Every entry shows the edition of the text it comes from, so you can check it against the official text. If you think a value is wrong, email support@8086.llc.
